The first unit I received was defective (crooked platen and other problems) but HPN quickly sent a new unit to replace the defective one. So my good experience started off a bit frustrating, but great support made all end well. The press itself is far beyond what others are offering at this price point, so it truly is in a league of it's own. It has been producing very consistent results, easy to use, and seems to be built to last. Love the digital controller, and the latest model has an upgraded circuit breaker style switch, etc. So I would highly recommend this press.
