Q: Can you order the attachments for other sizes separately? I'm just starting out and would like an option to buy attachments at a later date, is that possible?

Posted On: 11/1/2016 By: Rebekah

A: Although it is recommended to get them as the time of purchase, separate and replacement attachments are available for purchase at a later date.
Q: Are sublimation printers and laser printers the same thing? Also I saw an ink jet printer, when I went online looking up sublimation printers, what does the inkjet printer have to do with sublimation? Do you have to have a "sublimation printer"? Or can you use a different kind of printer?

Posted On: 10/21/2016 By: DONNA WILLIAMS

A: Sublimation printing is far different than inkjet or laser printing. It is a liquid form of ink so it is vastly different from Laser which uses a toner. Sublimation process is where a solid form turns into a gas form and back into solid. This is so that you can transfer a full colored image onto a poly coated white substrate. When you refer to inkjet and laser, they don't have this property so they rely on a polymer film to actually adhere to. Sublimation is meant for applications such as mugs, plates, tiles, and many more. If you are looking to do sublimation on T-shirts, it is only compatible with 100% polyester and we recommend white for the best colors. As far as Inkjet and Laser goes, there are transfer papers available for them and some in "self weeding" types but they all require a polymer film in order to transfer onto a T-shirt so technically you can feel the transfer on the shirt whereas sublimation would have no feel at all.
Q: What is the difference in the papers that you feature but no the cup presses? (Textprint XPHR & Textprint R sublimation) I would like to order, but I don't know which one to order...and also, where can I find the printer and die to sublimate? Thank you

Posted On: 10/21/2016 By: DONNA WILLIAMS

A: The TexPrint R paper is strictly meant for gel based sublimation printers such as the Ricoh and Sawgrass Virtuoso brands. The TexPrint XPHR is for your water based Epson printers.
Q: Is this press the same base model as the 4 in 1. If so can the other heating elements for the latte mugs etc be purchased at a later date as add ons?

Posted On: 8/18/2016 By: Bob Kaldahl

A: Yes it is the same base so if you are not interested in these additional attachments, you can always purchase the base unit and purchase the attachments separately. We sell them under Supplies, Replacements Parts, and Replacement Mug Heating Element.
Q: How close to the handles of the mug will this mug press allow the image to be pressed? I'm thinking on getting the 4 in 1 mug press and I imagine that it is the same as this except for the number and type of press elements included?

Posted On: 3/13/2016 By: John Smith

A: About 1/2 half inch on each side of the handle will not be able to be pressed.
