Loading and Exit Tray
CL 135 should be printed using the by-pass tray. If your printer has a rear exit door that will allow the paper to exit straight out the back we suggest you test the paper using this configuration.

Paper Mode
For the fuser to properly fuse the toner to the paper we suggest using Heavy Paper or Label Mode. You may need to test 2 or 3 different settings to find the best setting for your printer. To check for good toner adhesion, run your finger across the printed image. If any toner transfers to your finger you should set your paper mode setting on your print driver to a heavier setting.

Pre-Press Shirt
To remove moisture and bring the shirt to the correct pressing temperature it is critical that the shirt is pre-pressed prior to applying the transfer.

Trimming
Recommended to Trim roughly (about 0.5 inchs) around your graphic to reduce polymer background and paper lines.  This will also prevent your graphic from having the undesirable rectangle effect.

Pressure
CL 135, as with all transfer papers for light shirts, requires Maximum pressure. Using maximum pressure will ensure the transfer paper will peel correctly and increase the washability of the design.

Care Instructions
Wait 24 hours before washing. Machine wash using mild detergent. Do not use bleach or other aggressive cleaning agents. Cannot be dry cleaned. Wash Temperature cannot exceed 105F

Storage
CL 135 has an indefinite shelf life when stored at room temperature. Keep away from direct heat, sunlight and humidity.

Q: I have an HP CM1415 fnw Multifunction laser printer. What type of transfer paper would I use to print t-shirts on white and dark fabric? Thanks

Posted On: 8/12/2018 By: Pam

A: Hi Pam, for your laser printer, we would recommend the following papers for light and dark fabrics. Paropy Light Laser, Paropy Light Dark Opaque, Neenah Techni Print EZP, and Neenah Laser One Opaque. Unfortunately, none of the self-weeding options will work for your printer as they will require a white toner printer.
Q: What is the temperature difference on your OKI laser printer and a regular small business / home office laser. Is it very significant? So much so that my home laser will ruin the adhesive?

Posted On: 7/30/2018 By: AmyAT

A: The temperature in which this printer runs as is not a specification that is disclosed by the manufacturer. If you do need this information, please do reach out to OKI's technical support. If you are looking for a printer that is compatible with self-weeding transfer paper. We do recommend the OKI or UniNet primarily because of the white toner. If you aren't printing with self-weeding transfer paper then you can use most home laser printers for standard laser heat transfers.
Q: I just want to print out an image to iron on to a tshirt. We have a laser printer. I would use an IRON for the transfer. Is this the best product for me or is this just for HEAT PRESS MACHINES?

Posted On: 5/1/2018 By: Chrissy Ceravolo

A: This product would be the best to go with your laser printer. However, all of our heat transfer papers are made to transfer with a heat press machine and not an iron. This is because these transfer require a very specific temperature and time with heavy pressure in order to transfer correctly.
Q: I have the Okidata Go Uno/C830 LED printer, and heat press, what do you recommend for heatransfer paper? I have seen on YouTube weedless paper, do you have this? can you ship to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada?

Posted On: 6/22/2017 By: Derek

A: If it is not the OKI 711WT or OKI925WT, we wouldn't recommend the self weeding paper as these two printers are certified to work with the two step process. This is mainly because most other laser printers will not lay enough toner and also you will have issues since it won't printer a white toner base. At this time, we only ship within the US.
Q: Does this require special toner?

Posted On: 9/18/2016 By: Rob L.

A: With the laser transfer paper it is recommended using an Oki LED Laser Printer as they won't run as hot as normal laser printers preventing issues with the adhesive getting ruined.
