Q: Why is it called sublithin if it cannot be sublimated on? What vinyl can you print on using the sawgrass sg800?

Posted On: 12/21/2018 By: Ricky

A: The name is derived from it's feature where it will not allow sublimation dyed fabrics to bleed through the vinyl material. As for compatible materials for the Sawgrass, this would only be advised for usage with the Sublimation transfer papers such as TexPrint R or TexPrint XPHR.
Q: I don't understand, how is Sublithin not for inkjet but works with eco-solvent. When a lot of Epson WF printers are eco-solvent.

Posted On: 12/12/2018 By: Cory L Dye

A: Hello, if you are using an Eco-Solvent printer then that should not be a problem. Inkjet and Eco-Solvent would be different printing methods so prior to use it would be recommended to ensure you are using an eco-solvent/uv/latex printer for this material.
Q: Hello, can we print with a sublimation printer with this vinyl? Is this like the Subiflex 202?

Posted On: 12/10/2018 By: Jannira

A: This vinyl will require use of either an Eco-Solvent, Latex, or UV printer. Unfortunately sublimation will not be a compatible type of system for this material.
Q: Is Siser COLORPRINT SUBLITHIN Heat Transfer Vinyl used to print with sublimation ink? Can it be used on cotton shirts? Is there a video on youtube showing how it works?

Posted On: 8/25/2018 By: Shea

A: This material is meant to only be printed on with eco-solvent printers and can be pressed onto cotton and polyester fabrics.
Q: what kind of print and cut vinyl can you use for inkjet printers?

Posted On: 7/24/2018 By: Lilly Lawrence Webb

A: Unfortunately, there are no Print & Cut vinyl that will work with an inkjet printer. This is where Inkjet Heat Transfer Paper would be the solution for that. For Print & Cut vinyl, you will need an eco solvent printer.
