Q: What is the main difference between this-sof fusion pressing pillow and the tee pad-it? From the description, it sounds like it does the same thing. What is the advantage of one over the other? Thanks.

Posted On: 8/29/2018 By: A R

A: The Sof-Fusion Pressing Pillows are essentially heat resistant foam wrapped with a Pro Grade Non-Stick Sheet. The Tee Pad It are silicone pads that are a lot stiffer. They serve the same purpose in isolating pressure in specific areas and removing seams. However, the Pillows are the higher quality product since they are soft around the edges to show less of the heat impression lines. Since Tee Pad It are stiffer, you may temporarily see some heat impression lines momentarily. This is why Tee Pad It is cheaper than the Sof-Fusion Pressing Pillows.
Q: Hello, I'm about to purchase a Brother DTG and a Stahl's Maxx2G Heat Press. Before, I printed few samples and wanted to find a way to erase the pretreatment marks when heat pressing. I know that after one washing session, it disappear, but I want to sell my items through retailers, and I can't imagine saying that to the retail salesman. Are Sof-fusion pressing pillows help to get over it ? Are there any others solutions ? Thank you. Guillaume

A: The mentioned marks are generally caused by a loss of moisture. These marks will dissipate over time however to speed up the process, application of a spritz of water will help reduce this after application.
Q: this product help to erase the marks of the heat press in color tshirts?

Posted On: 7/12/2016 By: Carlos Trejos

A: If you are referring to the heat impressions you see after you press the shirt, it will minimize it but it won't get rid of it completely. That is because you're physically burning the fabric layer and ink off. I would highly suggest using this for synthetic fabrics as those show the most.
