30 Day Return Policy:
All returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of the delivery date on the package and are subject to a 15% restocking fee as well as return shipping costs. Please note that we are only able to issue a refund.
For Heat Presses: Any return of a heat press requires an RMA to be processed by a representative and additional return shipping costs will be deducted. The return of a heat press requires that all original packaging is included, specifically, the original box and foam moldings, stability board, manual, any accessories, and power cable (if applicable). All units are subject to return shipping fees including a 15% restocking fee when the unit is a preference based return; this includes ordering the incorrect product, the product being too small, etc. Scheduling pickups from the customer's address are subject to additional fees since it requires that a Fedex call tag is set up. (Refer to our DOA policy for information on defective or damaged returns)
Heat Press Nation reserves the right to waive the 15% restocking fee when a replacement product of equal or greater value is purchased or under special consideration. However, the returned item must be in like new condition, in the original box, and must not show any signs of extensive use. Simply place an order for a new heat press and upon receipt of your returned heat press, we will issue a refund with zero restocking fees. If you have placed an order for a new heat press and do not see the restocking fee waived, please reach out to our Customer Service Team for further inquiry. Please note, to/from shipping costs (including pickup fees) shall still be deducted from the refund amount. In the case that a free shipping promotion is applied to the original order, initial and return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount and is non-negotiable.
When requesting an RMA, the representative should inform you of all costs associated with the return prior to accepting and processing the RMA including to and from shipping and restocking if applicable. (Returning press must be in brand new condition, with all original packaging, paperwork, manuals, and accessories included to be eligible for waived restocking fee) Please note that if the package arrives to us damaged, you are subject to additional restocking charges.
Return to Sender: When an order is placed and shipped and the package is undeliverable, Heat Press Nation reserves the right to assess to and from shipping costs for the return. When the item arrives back, a refund will be processed for the item less the to-and-from shipping costs. We ask that if you are expecting to return a product, please reach out to our customer service team so that they may guide you in the best way to return your item.
15 Day DOA/Shipping Damage Policy:
All of our heat presses undergo a thorough quality control inspection before leaving our warehouse. Because of our strict quality control procedures, we are confident that your heat press will be in 100% working order upon delivery. Occasionally there are situations where products are damaged in transit and as a result, may not be in proper working or cosmetic condition upon arrival. In these situations we are happy to exchange your damaged/DOA/defective item with a brand new, direct replacement entirely at our expense.
To be eligible for a no-cost replacement, claims must be made within 15 days of product delivery. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery and notify your delivery driver immediately if there is any physical damage to the packaging.
If your item has arrived either damaged in transit or in less-than-perfect working condition, please contact us immediately at support.heatpressnation.com. To assist in our claims process, we kindly request that photos of the damaged product be sent via email.
Exceptions to Return Policy:
Vinyl Cutters & Printers: Vinyl Cutters may only be returned in new, unused condition. If included software has been registered/installed, the full value of that software shall be deducted from the return value.
Printers can only be returned in factory sealed condition, with no inks/toner installed and the serial number unregistered. No exceptions can be made for printers with installed ink/toner, nor printers with registered serial numbers. Inks, toner cartridges, and waste collection units can only be returned in factory sealed condition. If any of these items are damaged in shipping or are otherwise DOA, they shall be replaced only with an identical item.
Vinyl Cutters, Printers, and Printer Consumables are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If a vinyl cutter or printer is returned damaged, missing items, or altered in any way, we reserve the right to assess any additional restocking fees up to the full value of the purchase, depending on the condition or missing items. Any software that is included with the vinyl cutter or printer must come back uninstalled and unregistered. Should any software be installed/registered, the full value of that software will be deducted from the refund or credit.
Made to Order Products: Some products on our website are made to order after an order has been placed and are noted as such in the product description. Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or modified once the order has been placed. If an order is cancelled for one of these items, a restocking fee and/or product manufacturing cancellation fee may apply. These fees vary by manufacturer. Please contact us directly at support.heatpressnation.com if you have any questions about the return details for any made-to-order item specifically.
All software is final sale and cannot be returned.
Clearance Items are all final sale; we are unable to refund or exchange these items.
Gift cards cannot be returned.
Requesting a Return
If you wish to return or exchange any item purchased from Heat Press Nation, please contact us directly to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We can be reached at support.heatpressnation.com. Our office hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. Returns are not able to be accepted without a valid RMA number. To expedite the processing of your return, please include both the Order and RMA numbers with your return.
All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or a gift card. If you ordered by credit card, we'll credit your account within 14 business days of receiving the item at our Fullerton, CA headquarters. Credit card refunds may require an additional period of time before being reflected in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Returned products must be in brand-new condition. This means the product has not been modified, damaged, or altered and is in the same condition as when it was received. ALL original packaging, manuals, registration cards, accessories, etc. must be included as well, which includes the original box and specialized foam moldings. Items not received in new condition or with missing accessories/materials may have an additional restocking fee assessed, up to the full price of the item depending on the condition in which it was received. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns without all original packaging materials. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, which will be deducted from the final refund amount. Items purchased with a free shipping promotion are still liable to have the regular cost of shipping deducted from the final refund amount as well.

It is the customer’s responsibility to properly package and secure returning items to ensure no damage occurs during transit. For heat presses and other machinery, this means the original packaging complete with specialized foam moldings*. Credit will not be issued on products damaged due to negligent packaging. It is also recommended that your return be insured up to the cost of the product in case of damage in return shipping.
*In some cases, a replacement heat press box with specialized foam moldings may be available for purchase if you have discarded yours. Please call to check for availability; stock of replacement boxes not guaranteed.
