Sublimates great, lid is useless

I had a practice run with these and made a tumbler for my dad to use. The colors looked awesome! Unfortunately, when he put his coffee in it, the lid was useless. The coffee spilt out the sides of the lid. The heat makes the silicone lid too loose, making it impossible for it to hold in the hot water. Super bummed. I was very excited about these and now I'm not sure what to do with them.
