The DK20A is the AUTO-RELEASE "Pop-Up" version of Geo Knight's largest manual clamshell. This amazing high-tech feature makes your Digital Knight clamshell act like a semi-automatic, air operated press, without the compressor! Simply close the press as you normally do, and at the end of the digital timing cycle the press releases automatically.
The Auto-Release upgrade also features the "HOVER" feature. This means when the handle is lowered without fully clamping the machine, the press will hover over the work, usually needed for curing purposes. At the end of the time cycle, the press releases automatically as usual.
The DK20A 16x20 clamshell press opens for full access to the lower bottom table. It is important to note that the back of the heat platen raises above and away from the bottom table, providing better access than other clamshell presses. The frame support allows operators to slide shirts over the table with complete drape space around and underneath the loading area. Interchangeable bottom tables for smaller pressing areas are available. This press is ideal for environments with space limitations, and for users who need more portability and mobility than the over-weight swing away presses.

Big but well made. Simple to use. Large work area. Already making me money.
I purchased the heat press nation press 2 years ago and had issues with it . From lifting the handle to take off pressure made the equipment fall apart. This one eliminates that issues and gives an even amount of pressure.
Geo-Knight DK20A Digital Knight 16" x 20" Clam Auto-Open Heat Press
Let me tell you a story about the worst heat press I have found. Not even 3 weeks after I got all the bolts start coming loose to where once I tightened them I could maybe press 20 shirts before they were loose again making it impossible to use. Geo Knight answer was it's a know problem lock tight it. So we are out here selling $1,600 presses with know problems. This blows my mind. Ok fine we lock tight it. Which has worked so far so haven't had to use the updated bolt stuff they sent randomly 2 months after that email. If the problems ended there that be great but half the time the magnet won't flip on it's own and I have turn it with my hand. Ok that fine to but the pressure thing is suppose to be able to read 9 but this press has only ever read to 3 even with turning the pressure to where it falls off. I have no ideal it might fall off with one more turn because only reads to 3. There has to be much better presses out there for this amount of money. The tempture is also all over the place. If I need to do 250 degrees I have to set it on 280 to reach 250. yets if I increase temp more and say I need 380 I have to set it on 350 other wise it over 400.
